Cody T Carter

Cody Thomas Carter sadly and unexpectedly passed away at his home in Inverness, FL, on May 30, 2020, at the age of 27. Cody was born in Nashville, TN, on January 28, 1993, to James Thomas Carter and Lovella (Kinlaw) Sigler. He recently moved to Inverness (two months ago) from Tennessee. Cody attended the Nashville School of Arts, where he played guitar. Cody had a great love for animals, being outdoors, music, and history (especially about the Vikings.) He enjoyed spending time fishing, camping, and hiking. Cody also loved playing video games with his dad and brother. Cody possessed a great sense of witty humor that could make anyone smile.
Those left to mourn Cody’s passing include his father, James Thomas Carter and his wife Alisha of Inverness, FL; mother, Lovella Sigler and her husband Jim of Whitehouse, TN; Paternal Grandmother Diana Reed, Grandmother Carol Cannon Carter, his niece Mya Saint Carter, Aunt Inez Kinlaw, Cousins: Brianna Jones (Michael), Teresa Kinlaw (Abigail Harmon & Madelyn Kinlaw), Nancy Wiggins, Alec and Declan Henderson, Luke Carter and Summer Carter, his Uncle Jason Carter, stepsisters, and stepbrother: Crystalyn Bush, Ashley Bush, and Zack Bush.
Cody was preceded in death by his younger brother, Austin Carter, in February of this year, paternal grandmother Marjorie Dechman, paternal grandfather James F. Carter, and Great Grandmother Mabel White Plummer. Cremation with care provided by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
