Jean Alberta Van Beughem of Hernando, FL passed away while under the care of Vitas Hospice and her loving family on May 19, 2020 at the age of 74. Jean was born in Bronx, NY on September 11, 1945 to the late Harold Lee and Alberta (Murphy) Muire. She made Hernando her home in 2014 after relocating from New York, NY. Jean worked as a Registered Nurse throughout her career. She absolutely loved swimming and also enjoyed reading and playing scrabble. Jean was a Christian by faith and a member of the Living Church of God.
Those left to mourn Jean’s passing include her daughters: Dawnmarie Van Beughem of Lecanto, FL, Stacey Ann O’Rourke of Hernando, FL; son, Ronald Melville of New York, NY; sister, Susan Muire of Forest Hills, NY; grandchildren: Eric Belz of Inverness, FL, Kaitlyn O’Rourke of Largo, FL, Kevin O’Rourke of Daytona, FL; nieces: Jacqueline Feinberg-Ruiz-Scarsdale and Deborah Chaleff, both of East Islip, NY; and her two very dear friends: Timmy Hogan of Hernando, FL, Elaine Roldan of Hernando, FL.
