Michael J Santucci

Michael J. Santucci, resident of Hernando, FL passed away on May 15th, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family, at 72 years of age. He was born to the late Joseph and Lillian Messier Santucci on November 17th, 1947 in Palmer, Massachusetts. He made Citrus County his home in 1990 when he moved from Massachusetts and he worked as a sales person in RV sales for many years before enjoying his retirement.
Michael was a man after God’s heart and will be remembered fondly for his devotion to God; Michael was always reading, listening, or talking about scripture. He could often be found talking to and spending time with God. Michael was very outgoing and love to talk to his family and friends and tell lots of stories. He also enjoyed spending time outdoors by fishing and tending to his landscaping. Michael loved swimming in his pool and staying as active as he could. Michael will be deeply missed.
Along with his parents, Michael is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Janet E. Santucci, who passed away on December 30th, 2011. Those left to cherish his memory are is son, Jeff Santucci of Ocala, FL; by his daughter, Christina Letts (Joe) of Inverness FL; and by his grandson, Justin Scott and his companion of 7 years, Rita Bosse.
Cremation arrangements have been scheduled for Michael, in the care of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
