Lawrence David May, age 71, Inverness, FL passed away May 14, 2020 at the Vitas Hospice facility in Lecanto.
Mr. May was born in Kenova, WV on July 19, 1948 to the late Cleo and Helen (Blanton) May and came to Citrus County in 2012 from Hinesville, GA (Fort Stewart). He served our country in the U.S. Army and retired as an E-7 following 20 years of service. Following his retirement from the service, he was a sales representative for several different businesses.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 35 years, Nancy Williams May of Inverness, FL; 2 sons, Larry David May and wife, Tinza and Joey Lee May, both of Alabama; 1 sister, Ginger May, Huntington, WV; 1 grandson, Andrew May.
Graveside military honors will be held on Friday, October 23rd, 2020 at 2:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Cremation with care by Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory
