Julia Helen Heath, 99, of Lecanto, passed away May 12, 2020 at Diamond Ridge Health and Rehab Center. Julia was born on March 26, 1921 in Terre Haute, IN, to the late Michael and Elizabeth (Ganzler) Huth. She came to Citrus County in 1986 from Ferguson, MO. Julia was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Inverness and a former member of the Main Street Baptist in Inverness.
Julia enjoyed being a full time homemaker, loved her family and all her friends, and she just enjoyed life to the fullest.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons: Roland W. Heath and his wife Bonnie , of Herculaneum, MO and Joseph S. Heath and his wife Deb, of St. Charles, MO; her daughter-in-law Jackie Heath of Crystal River; her grandchildren: Josh Heath, Kelly Heath, Eric Heath, Mike Heath, Jeremy Heath and Jason Heath; and several great grandchildren. Julia was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Benjamin, on November 7, 2012, her son, Michael Heath, on November 3, 2015; and her 7 sisters and two brothers.
A Celebration of Life Service for Julia will be conducted on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness, with Rev. Greg Kell, officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Inverness. Friends may visit with the family at the time of service. Arrangements are under the care of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness.
