Anthony Noble, 86, of Inverness, FL passed away on Friday, May 8th, 2020 at Vitas Healthcare in Lecanto, FL with his loving family by his side. He was born to the late Bartolo and Ida (DeFalco) Noble on September 20th, 1933 in Brooklyn, NY. Anthony married his beloved wife, Margaret, on July 30th, 1960 and enjoyed 60 beautiful years of marriage together. In 1976, the two of them moved to Florida from Oakdale, NY where Anthony lived the remainder of his years. Anthony worked as a machinist for the Mergenthaler Linotype company for many years. He also bravely served our great country as a member of the United States Navy.
Anthony will be remembered for his love of all types of dancing, especially with his wife. Dancing allowed him to really express who he was and make many friends along the way.
Along with his parents, Anthony is preceded in death by several siblings, family members, and friends. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Margaret; his siblings, Cecelia Noga “Tootsie” of Maryland, Bernard Noble “Junior” of New Jersey, Emily Noble of New Jersey, Gennaro Noble “Jerry” of Beverly Hills, FL, and Kathe Blum; his cousin, Pat DeFalco of Citrus Springs, FL; his brother and sister in law, Chas and Shirley O’Brien of Inverness, FL; his niece and God-child, Donna O’Brien; his niece Deborah O’Brien; and his nephew, Bart O’Brien. He was loved by so many and will be missed greatly.
Cremation arrangements have been scheduled for Anthony. He will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery. Anthony is in the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
