Clara Jean Autenrieth, age 88, Inverness, FL passed away April 26, 2020 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. Jean was born in Tarpon Springs, FL on May 9, 1931 to the late Anthony and Irene (Rasmussen) Thomas and came to Citrus County in 1978 from Clearwater, FL. She worked in the medical field as a Nurses Aid.
Left to cherish her memory are 5 children: Michele Autenrieth, Melissa Houston, and Michael Autenrieth, all of Inverness; Melanie Castellano, Hernando, FL; Joseph Levy, Apopka, FL; 1 sister, Betty Collier of Georgia; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Autenrieth on August 6, 1980 and her 3 brothers.
Jean’s life will be remembered at a private family service on Wednesday, April 29th at 1:00 PM at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness with her grandson, Dylan Autenrieth officiating. Interment of Jean’s urn will be in Hills of Rest Cemetery following her cremation.
