Harold D Rouse

Harold D. Rouse, 82, of Floral City, FL passed away at home Wednesday, April 22, 2020, under the care of his family and Hospice.

Harold was born to the late Nova and Goldie (Roberts) Rouse on February 2, 1938 in Worthington, MO. Harold worked as a Carpenter Contractor for many years, as well as being a “jack-of-all-trades” and working in many different avenues all around the United States. Harold made Florida his home in 1970 when he relocated from Rockford, IL.

Harold enjoyed riding motorcycles, especially his Honda Gold Wing and was a proud member of the Florida Retreads. He loved fishing, hunting, and doing any type of water sports. He also loved traveling all over the US.

Along with his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen, of 28 years. He is survived by his children, Lonnie Rouse (Laurie) of Groveland, FL, Randy Rouse (Tangi) of Ocala, FL, Terry Rouse (Melaine) of Zephyrhills, FL, and Deana Rouse of Ocala, FL; his brother, Dwayne Rouse of Inverness, FL; many grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. He was loved by many and will be missed dearly.

Cremation arrangements have been scheduled for Harold in the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
