Harold “Hesh” Ackerman of Inverness, FL passed away at his home with his loving wife by his side on April 7, 2020 at the age of 92. Harold was born in New Brunswick, NJ on July 6, 1927 to the late Philip and Minnie (Berkowitz) Ackerman. He was a manager and supervisor for the retail industry, and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy and was a Veteran of World War II.
Along with his parents, Hesh was preceded in death by his two brothers, Irving and Ed and by his nephews, Donnie and Jason. He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Wilma and by his cherished 14 nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and nephews, and many great-great-nieces and nephews.
Cremation arrangements have been scheduled for Hesh, under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.
