D Robert Patton

Dorris Robert Patton, 72, of Inverness, FL passed away March 12, 2020 at Vitas Healthcare Hospice in Lecanto. FL. He was born in Rolla, MO on June 15, 1947 to the late Frank and Maude (Brown) Patton. Robert served our country honorably in the U.S. Air Force, attaining the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. He arrived in this area in 2017, coming from Alamogordo, NM and enjoyed horseback riding and doing ranch work. He worked with junior high and high school rodeo clubs, and was a member of the Trinity Arabian Horse Association (TAHA). He was preceded in death by one brother, Alvin Patton and one sister Sharon Davis. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Dorothy Patton. Robert is also survived by his children Robert Patton and his fiancé Elizabeth Garcia of Murrieta, CA, Charles Patton of Eugene, OR, James Patton of Killeen, TX, and Frank Patton and his wife Misty of Marysville, KY; step son Jeremie Cutter and his wife Stephanie of Vevay, IN, and step daughter Angela Cutter of Vevay, IN; brothers Bill Smith and Guy Patton; sisters Linda Manning, Joann Kelly, Wanda Monahan, Cora Mathews (Jen) and Bonnie McCallister; and grandchildren Ethan, Joey, Addyston, and Ruby.
