Harold Garth White of Inverness, FL passed away at his home on March 11, 2020 at the age of 85. Harold was born on January 6, 1935 in Independence, MO to the late Thomas and Frances (Tyler) White. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. On March 7, 1989 he married his wife Margaret “Peggy” with whom he shared 31 years of marriage. Harold and Peggy made Citrus County, FL their home 19 years ago after relocating from Loganville, GA. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing cards, fishing and playing golf. Harold will be remembered as a kind and generous man that was helpful to others in their time of need.

In addition to his loving wife Peggy, those left to mourn Harold’s passing include his sons: Mark White and his wife Betty of Oakwood, GA; Thomas White of Lula, GA; daughters: Victoria Warneke of Lawrenceville, GA; Patricia Zeisler of Waterville, GA; Sandra Carter of Ocala, FL; a sister, Melba Djuvstad of Signal Hill, CA; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at Floral Park in Floral City. Please come and enjoy the fellowship with Harold’s family. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favorite charity.
