Kevin R. March, Floral City, FL passed away on March 3rd, 2020 at his home at the age of 71. He was born to the late Salvatore T. and Emma Irene (Ablett) March on April 9th, 1948 in Staten Island, NY.

He worked as a Federal Prosecutor from 1976 until August of 1999 fighting Mafia corruption in New Jersey, Detroit, Miami and Tampa. In Tampa he headed the Organized Crime and Racketeering Section where he prosecuted well-known Mafia figures, as well as corrupt county commissioner’s.

In 1972, he married his beloved wife, Renee. For the past six years he has resided in Floral City, Florida.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Renee; his son, Keith March, daughter-in-law Brittney of Floral City, FL and his daughter, Corrie Ward and son-in-law Ryan of Land O’ Lakes, FL; his three brothers, Robert, Salvatore, and Gregory March; and his six beautiful grandchildren, Summer, Tyler, Katelyn, Ascher, Brecken, and Colt. He was loved and respected by all his family and friends.

Kevin thoroughly enjoyed life and his retirement which was spent volunteering in the Coast Guard Auxiliary, traveling abroad, and overseeing the operation of the family’s Black Angus Cattle Ranch. He took great enjoyment spending time with his family and friends. Kevin will be missed dearly.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled at Our Lady of Fatima Church (550 U.S. Hwy. 41 South Inverness, FL 34450) on Tuesday, March 10th, 2020 at 10:00 A.M. Father Tim will officiate the service. The family will be welcoming friends to gather in Kevin’s memory at the church at 9:30 am until the hour of service.
