Dora Muino of Winter Springs, FL passed away at her home while surrounded by her loving family on February 19, 2020 at the age of 81. Dora was born in Barranquilla, Columbia on February 8, 1939 and was Catholic by faith.
She was married to her husband Pedro Muino for 24 years until his passing on June 1, 1989. Dora and Pedro moved their family from Queens, New York and made Florida their home over 50 years ago. Dora was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother that truly loved spending time with her family and caring for her children. She was known for telling wonderful stories and her laughter. In her spare time she enjoyed going shopping and studying the English language.
Those left to mourn Dora’s passing include her son, Paul Muino of Winter Springs, FL; daughters: Linda Creamer and her husband Michael of Johnson City, TN, Evelyn Hauter and her husband Rodney of Homosassa, FL; sister, Flor Rosales de Manotas of Miami, FL; grandchildren: Bethany, Matthew, Thomas, Carson; step-grandson: Jacob; step-great grandchild, Wyatt; many nieces and nephews; and her loving care-givers Jennifer Casteleiro and Jessica Araguren. In addition to her husband, Dora was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
A Funeral Service of Remembrance is scheduled for Monday, February 24, 2020 at 11:00 AM from the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness, FL and will be conducted by Pastor Rick Welshans of Covenant Church of God, Floral City, FL. Friends are invited to join the family in visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Following the chapel service, Dora will be laid to rest with her husband Pedro at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 12:30 PM. Arrangements are under the care of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
