Marvin A. Perrey, of Homosassa, FL, passed away at Vitas Healthcare in Lecanto, FL at the age of 98. He was born on October 3rd, 1921 to the late Arthur and Heli (Malan) Perrey in Deer Creek, MO. He worked as an Engineer for the Central Electric Power Co-Op for 34 years. Marvin bravely and honorably served our great country as a member of the United States Navy. Though formerly from Missouri, Marvin settled in the Homosassa, FL area in 1985 where he lived the remainder of his years. He enjoyed attending First Presbyterian Church of Crystal River, FL.
Marvin was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Faye, of 68 years, who passed away on May 8th, 2016 and his dear sister, Gladys Jones, and his two brothers, Alfred and Clifford. He is survived by his two sons, Gary of Barnhart, MO and Karl of Phoenix, AZ; his brother, Harvey of Troy, MO; his sister, Erma Free of St. Charles, MO; his two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Marvin was loved by many and will be missed dearly. Cremation care arrangements are by Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL. Marvin will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date.
