Virginia T. “Ginger” Dean, 70, of Inverness, passed away December 3, 2019 at her home. Ginger was born on September 1, 1949 in Manhattan, NY, to the late Charles S. and Terri (Pertoso) Dembinski. She came to Citrus County 11 years ago from San Diego, CA. Ginger was a senior accountant with the Federal Reserve. According to her friend George, he said that in the time he spent with that beautiful lady, he was proud to know and share his life with her. He came to know her as an amazing and strong woman but sometimes naive. Some of the other people in her past took her love for granted and put her in harms’ way. But through all of the bad things she endured, she still came through to meet her challenges. Her biggest fight was with cancer. It tested her will every day, and she made the choice to fight the big fight, as he stayed by her side. George and her friend will always love her forever. Their beautiful, Ginger, may she rest in peace now with her God and her Mother and Father. They will all meet again.
Private cremation with care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
