Where Planning Is A Gift That Lives On

Robbin L Palmer

Robbin Lee Ausbrook Palmer was born February 3rd, 1947 in Berkley, California to the late Gladys Ausbrook and her step-father, Jewel Dean “J.D.” Strain. Robbin passed away on November 10, 2019. Robbin did not graduate high school and never received a GED; when Robbin was asked why she did not receive either, she replied “I had to stay moving. I lived in the moment!”
Robbin’s greatest accomplishments were: “My two beautiful children, Dean and Stephanie”. She worked in various restaurants and coffee shops, but the most memorable job was working for the Alaskan Pipe Line alongside her Dad, “J.D.”. She retired in 2007 from “The Chronicle” after 18 years of employment. Robbin was very active with the Floral City VFW Post #7122 for over 24 years, serving most recently as Parson (sending out sympathy cards and congratulatory cards to families and members of the VFW family). Robbin’s favorite color was yellow and her favorite flower was a daffodil. Her favorite song was “I Did It My Way!” and her favorite saying was “It’s never too late!”
Robbin’s message to leave behind to present children, present grandchildren, and present/future great grandchildren is, “It may not seem that I cared about them but I did. I had different ways of showing that I loved.” One word to leave with remaining family members is simply the word, “Love”. Advice for remaining family members is, “When you want advice, choose someone you can trust and explain to them in detail what you are talking about”. Robbin stated, “I give horrible advice”. After she laughed for a brief moment, Robbin stated, “That’s true”.
For Robbin’s dear friends and family, remembering her witty sense of humor will not be forgotten. Smile with love in knowing Robbin is no longer in pain, no longer suffering, but in Heaven with Christ, in fields of Daffodils, in streets of “yellow” gold, and filled with God’s LOVE! Cremation with Care by Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
