John B. Watson, Jr., 91, of Inverness, FL passed away October 12, 2019 at his residence in Inverness. He was born in Viper, KY on April 29, 1928 to the late John B. and Laura B. (Fields).
John was a tool maker with General Motors for 36 years, and served our country honorably in the U.S. Navy. He was Protestant by faith, a member of the Anderson Masonic Lodge F&AM. and the Citrus Masonic Lodge in Inverness. He enjoyed golfing and fishing.
John was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Mary Watson in 2012. He is survived by his children John L. Watson of Soppchoppee, FL, and Pam Holley and her husband Randy of Tallahassee, FL; sister Joyce Learned of Indiana; step son Dennis Cooper and wife Cathy of Markleville, IN; 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
