Marcella A. “Marcy” Bobbert, age 74, Floral City passed away October 8, 2019 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Oxford, FL, following an extended illness. Marcy was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on June 22, 1945 to the late Stanley and Viola (Noreski) Knapp. She came to Citrus County in 1998 from Spartansburg, PA and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 56 years, James Bobbert, her son, James Bobbert, Jr, of Spring Hill, FL; two brothers: James and Paul Knapp of Pittsburgh, PA; two sisters: Eileen Bright and Rose Marie; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Bobbert in 1985 and sisters: Mary Lou and Rita.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019 at 10:00 AM from Our Lady of Fatima Church, with Fr. Tim Cummings, celebrant. Interment will be at a later date in Pennsylvania.
