Patricia M. Hershey, 84, Lecanto, FL went to be with the Lord on July 17, 2019, at Brookdale Citrus Assisted Living Facility under the care of Vitas Hospice. Patricia was one of three children, born to the late James E. and Elizabeth (Smink) Breen on August 25, 1934 in Cleveland, OH. She came to Florida from Strongsville, OH in 2000, with her husband, Harry. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Inverness FL, where her husband was their organist until his passing on September 10, 2015.
Those left to cherish Patricia’s memory include her children: David Hershey of Parma, OH, Donna Lea of Ashburn, VA, Kathleen Hershey of Akron, OH; her brother, Fred Breen (Judy) Sylvania, OH; her sister, Elizabeth Burnworth (Newton), Hernando, FL; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, Harry E. Hershey.
Patricia’s life will be remembered and celebrated at Sunset Chapel, North Olmsted, OH, on Thursday, July 25th. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The Chas E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness, FL assisted the family with Florida arrangements.
