Richard Paul Albrecht, Sr., 77, of Inverness, FL passed away July 7, 2019 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born in Manhassett, NY on December 14, 1941 to the late Martin and Marion (Marcy) Albrecht.
Richard was an automotive mechanic and arrived in this area in 1988, coming from Long Island, NY. He was a Catholic by faith, and enjoyed mechanic work and riding motorcycles. He also liked shooting pool, watching political news and playing golf. He also enjoyed listening to Do-Woop and Country Music. Richard was a body builder for many years, as well as a boxer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Linda M. Albrecht. Other survivors include his son Richard Albrecht, Jr., brother Kelvin Albrecht; sisters Evelyn Christensen, and Dottie Clyde; loving niece Debra Albrecht; and 2 grandchildren.
Private cremation under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
