Linda Diane Armstrong, age 73, of Inverness, FL passed away at Vitas Healthcare in Lecanto on June 14, 2019 with her loving family by her side. Linda was born on December 27, 1945 in Berea, OH to the late Donald Dwight and Elrose Alverna (Speck) Armstrong. She made Florida her home in 1975 after moving from Ohio and relocated to Citrus County in 1980. Linda had a strong faith in God and dedicated her life to him in 1958. She worshiped locally at the Kingdom Hall in Homosassa, Fl and had the opportunity to travel to Berlin, Germany for the International Convention of Jehovah’s Witnesses. A trip that was both inspirational and precious to her. She also had the opportunity to travel to Austria, and loved to take cruises with her family and friends. Linda’s faith was such a strong part of her life. It helped guide her and comfort her through good times and bad. Linda also had an immense love for her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She spent 3 years volunteering in the deaf and hard of hearing community, helping individuals and families learn the Bible in American Sign Language. In her spare time she liked working on crossword puzzles and reading. Linda was always trying to learn new things.

Those left to mourn Linda’s passing include her daughters: Suzanne Bonilla of Inverness, FL, Lynell Cole and her husband Harvey of Alma, GA; stepsons: Daniel Finkel and his wife Audrey of Medina, OH, Clair Finkel of Cleveland, OH, Jeffrey Finkel and his wife Jeanne of Cypress, TX, Dale Finkel, Edwin Finkel and his wife Victoria, both of Brunswick, OH, Scott Finkel and his wife Christine of Cleveland, OH; brothers: James Armstrong and his wife Shannon of Georgetown, TX, Dennis Armstrong and his wife Beverly of Katy, TX; sister, Rosemary Doehring and her husband Raymond of Mentor, OH; grandchildren: Felicia, Hillary, Rebecca, Aaron; and great grandchild, Abigail.

A Celebration of Linda’s life is scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1175 S Skyway Ave, Homosassa, FL 34448. Cremation care provided by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
