Charlotte Johnson

Charlotte Johnson, age 63 of Bushnell, FL passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at her daughter’s home under the loving care of her family and Vitas Hospice. Charlotte was born in Painsville, OH on February 11, 1956 to the late George William and Bernadette Josephine (Krisher) Prosser. She made Florida her home 30 years ago after relocating from Georgia. Charlotte worked as a beautician throughout her professional career and was a Christian by faith. She was a member of the Wahoo Baptist Church in Bushnell. Charlotte was also an Auxiliary member of the Lake Panasoffkee VFW. She loved thrift store shopping, fishing, crafts and spending time with her family.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Tracy West Bumpus and her husband Michael, Kimberly Olinger and her husband Daniel, all of Bushnell, and Alison West of Inverness; sisters: Audrey Prosser (Bruce) and Louise Peters (Stan) both of Chardon, OH; grandchildren: Morgan, Sera, Christian, Taylor, Dakota, Charli, Ann Marie, Americus, Kyleigh, Gage and Cooper; her former husband, Emory Johnson of Floral City; and sister in law Debbie Prosser. She was preceded in death by her brothers: George William “Bill” Prosser II, Andrew “Andy” Prosser and the father of her children, William “Bill” West.

Charlotte has chosen to give the gift of her body donation for medical and scientific research. Assisting with her arrangements is the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory in Inverness.
