Ronnie O Bonnett

Ronnie O. Bonnett, 76, of Floral City, FL passed away May 5, 2019 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL. He was born in Aiken, SC on February 18, 1943 to the late David Thomas and Cleo (Curry) Bonnett. Ronnie was a wholesaler for the grocery industry, and served our country honorably in the U.S. Navy. He moved to this area 23 years ago, from Plant City, FL and was Baptist by faith. He loved spending time with his family, being on his pontoon boat and fishing. He was a “people person” and loved everyone he met. Ronnie is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Brenda Bonnett. He is also survived by his children, Karen Sisko of Floral City, FL, Kevin Bonnett and his wife Antoinette of Brooksville, FL, and Byron Bonnett and his wife Sandi of Floral City, FL; He has 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren; brothers Tommy (Ann) Bonnett, Robert (Cindy) Bonnett, and Bobby Gene Woodward and Sister in Law Peggy Woodward. Ronnie was preceded in death by his brothers, Ernest Woodward and John Bonnett and Sister in Law Linda Woodward. The family will receive friends starting at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 08, with a Celebration of Life Service for Ronnie stating at 3:00 P.M. at the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL. Ronnie’s urn will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at a later date.
