Ronald James Graebe. Age 71, Dunnellon, FL passed away May 4, 2019 at his home under the care of Vitas Hospice. Ronald was born in New York, NY to the late Alfred J. and Dorothy (Schreiner) Graebe and moved to this area in 2009 from Medford, NY. He was a carpenter by trade and a proud member of the New York City Carpenter’s Union No. 1. His passion was biking and was a member of the Nature Coast Ramblers. Ron was of the Catholic Faith and served our country in the U.S. Navy.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving nieces and nephew: Linda Pedersen, Maryann Brucculeri , Melissa Demma, and John Graebe; his significant other, Judy Meadows. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jack (Alfred) Graebe and his sister, Loretta Nagel.
Ron’s life will be remembered at a Celebration Of Life Service which is scheduled for May 17th, 2019 at 12 Noon at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, Florida with Fr. Tim Cummings, pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church officiating. Friends and family are invited to share their memories about Ron as well. Burial with military honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery. Guests are invited to visit the family at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
