Sandra Lee Miller, age 78, of Inverness, FL passed away at her home on April 30, 2019 while surrounded by her loving family, and under the care of Vitas Hospice. The daughter of the late Clifford and Eleanor (Sampson) Lloyd, Sandra was born in Collins, NY on May 19, 1940. On July 29, 1961 she married Edward “Ed” Miller, with whom she shared 58 years of loving marriage. Formerly of Sandusky, NY, Sandra and Ed were Florida “Snowbirds” for a number of years before making Citrus County, FL their permanent home 4 years ago. She was a Christian by faith, and a member of the Sandusky Baptist Church. Sandra loved to socialize with others and was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Freedom Seniors. In her spare time, she liked to read and enjoyed cooking and baking. She also loved traveling the country with her husband in their RV, where she was able to meet many wonderful people and make lifelong friends over the years.
In addition to her loving husband Ed, those left to mourn Sandra’s passing include her sons: Troy Miller and his wife Rhonda of Yorkshire, NY, Brian Miller of Inverness, FL; daughter, Staci Biscaro and her husband Anthony of Yorkshire, NY; stepdaughter, Sandy Weldon of Blairsville, GA; grandchildren: Brandon, Dylan (Courtney), Drew (Adam), Ana, Derek and Dominic; and great grandchildren: Bryce, Bentlee, Kailyn, Kaleb and Killian. Sandra was preceded in death by her son, Drew Miller in 1985. She was also preceded in death by brother, Terry Childs; and sisters: Betty Esposito and Olive Trippi.
Sandra’s family is currently making plans for a memorial service in New York at a later date. Cremation care provided by the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
