Roy A Goodrich

Roy Alden Goodrich, 70, of Inverness, FL passed away April 25, 2019 at Ocala Health & Rehab in Ocala, FL. He was born in Hardwick, VT on September 7, 1948 to the late Earl and Beatrice (Moore) Goodrich. Roy was a Baptist by faith, and arrived in this area in 2013, coming from The Villages, FL. He served our country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Viet-Nam war, and was a Purple Heart recipient. Roy loved playing Cribbage and watching NASCAR. He is survived by his loving wife, Florence Goodrich. Other survivors include his daughter, Melissa Goodrich of Phelem, CA; brothers Rober Goodrich of Craftsbury, VT, and Reginald Goodrich of Ocala, FL; and 4 grandchildren. A graveside service for Roy will be held with military honors on Monday, May 6, 2019, 2:00 P.M. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. Cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
