Peggy J Close

Peggy Joyce Close, of Lake Panasoffkee, passed away on March 19,
2019, with her family by her side. She was born to the late Bunnie and Nellie Lee on Nov. 12, 1947, in Coffee County, Alabama.

She is survived by her husband, Robert “Bob” Close who she married in1979, along with her three children: Connie (Jerry) Hays of Lake
Panasoffkee, Randy (Meresa) Boutwell of Ocala, and Robert
“Bumper” (Jamie) Close of Inverness. Peggy is also survived by her three sisters: Barbara “Ann” Chancey, Judy Mcleroy, Martha Fae “Tina” Tarlton,and very close friend, Donna “Sue” Mitchell. She leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of longtime friends. Peggy is predeceased by her siblings: Bobby Lee, JW Lee, Linda Leverett,and Wynell Bridges, along with her son Russell “Skeeter” Close, her granddaughter, Shyanne Close, and her grandson, Jordan Hays. Peggy loved her family and leaves behind joyful memories. She was a wonderful wife, mother, Nana, aunt, sister, and friend. She had a love for fishing and laughter, and will be greatly missed by her loved ones.

Services for Peggy will be held on Tuesday, March 26th, 2019 at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness. The service times are as follows: family at 9:00 a.m., visitation at 10:00 a.m., and a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be held at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 12:30 p.m. Flowers may be sent to 3075 S.
