Arden “Art” Frank Wandall, age 75 of Lecanto, Florida peacefully passed away Friday, February 8, 2019 at the Vitas Hospice House in Lecanto. Art was a lover of dogs and children. His laugh was frequent, hearty and contagious. He enjoyed spending time in nature wherever he happened to be, from mountains to deserts to lakes and seas. Fulfilled by the simple pleasures in life, he knew how to relax and enjoy simply watching the birds out the window. His favorite times were spent up in the California mountains in his Jeep or rolling down the highway in his little red convertible, blasting classic rock. Art’s presence will be missed, but anyone who knew him will always know that Art truly lived.
His memory will be cherished by his wife, Diane (Viets) Wandall; three stepchildren, Michael Romnek of Oxford, NC; Thomas Romnek, Appleton, WI; and Susan (Romnek) McKinley, Callaway, MD; his brother and sister, Gary Wandall and Liz Trewyn, both of Franklin, WI; five grandchildren, Amanda McKinley, Katherine McKinley, Benjamin Romnek, Miranda Romnek, and Nicholas Romnek.
