Angela Bertucci passed away on January 31, 2019 at The Grove Health and Rehab Center in Hernando, FL at 102 years of age. Angela was born on August 1, 1916 in New York, N.Y. to the late Luigi and Josephine (Sciara) Mazzarelli. She was married to her loving husband, Michael Bertucci, for over 50 years until his passing on April 1, 1990. Angela and Michael made Citrus County their home 39 years ago after relocating from New York. She was an exceptional artist, especially oil painting. She also enjoyed making crafts, knitting, sewing, crocheting, creating stained glass pieces and was an incredible cook. Angela was talented in so many ways. She had performed for several Lion’s Club charity events over the years with her singing and dancing. However, Angela’s greatest passion was her family and the immense love she had for them.
Angela’s memory shall be cherished by her daughters: Diane Trombetta, Lorraine Galeano of Bohemia, Long Island, N.Y.; five grandchildren and several great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Angela was preceded in death by her son, Michael Bertucci; daughter, Valerie Bertucci Weaver; and sons in law, John Trombetta and Robert Galeano. Cremation care is under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
