Tyrie Nathan Thomas was born on September 6, 1988, in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident on January 19, 2019, in Inverness, FL. Tyrie was raised in southern Indiana and had recently moved to Florida with his family in 2017.
He is survived by his wife, Scarlett Haley Thomas and his two young children, Gabriel W. Thomas and Aurora S. Thomas, all of Inverness, FL; his mother, Virginia A. Thomas and sisters, Tegan C. Thomas and Morgan S. Thomas, all of Holiday, FL; brother, Dustin R. Thomas and his fiancée, Monica Jo Priess, both of New Port Richey, FL; nephew, Aaron Brinkworth of Orleans, IN; his father, Orval L. Thomas and grandmother, Kristen M. Smelser, both of Wales, FL; and many other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Tyrie was preceded in death by his “brothers at heart”, Zeke Goodpastor and Corey Harris, both of Paoli, Indiana.
A celebration of life memorial service will take place at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home on Monday, January 28, 2019, at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Greg Kell of Cornerstone Baptist Church officiating. An additional celebration for Tyrie will continue at Whispering Pines Park after the memorial service. The Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory is assisting the family with cremation care services.
