Ralph Jackson “Jack” Oxendine, age 63, Inverness, FL passed suddenly on December 30, 2018 at his home. Ralph was born in Washington, DC on May 19, 1955 to the late Ralph and Ida Homerine Weiss Oxendine, Sr and came to Citrus County in 1995 from Winter Haven, FL. He worked in the construction industry as an electrician prior to retirement and served our country in the U.S. Army. Jack enjoyed hunting and fishing. He earned his Charter Captain’s License and enjoyed being a fishing guide as his favorite past time.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 20 years, Vickey Sue (Oliver) Oxendine of Inverness; faithful companion Ellie; a son, Justin Morris and his wife, Jamie Milliron of Summerfield, FL; 1 brother, Joe Oxendine and wife Janet, Villa Rica, GA; 2 grandchildren, Bentley C. Morris and James A. Morris; a niece, Keri Ruth Harp and his aunt, Joyce Greene. He was predeceased by two sisters, Esther Weiss and Lynne Bader.

The family will lay his urn to rest at a later date in Mt Gilead Cemetery in Mills River, NC. Cremation care was under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory.
