Stephen Wesley Carroll, age 64, of Citrus Springs, FL passed away at his home on December 19, 2018. Stephen was born on September 30, 1954 in St. Petersburg, FL and was one of three children born to the late Roy Wesley and Johnnie Lillian (Bailey) Carroll. He made Citrus County his home in 2014 after relocating from St. Petersburg, FL. Stephen was a Christian by faith and attended worship services at Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church in Lecanto. He enjoyed going on shopping trips with his sister to thrift and antique stores. Stephen loved reading and studying history. He was a volunteer at the Crystal River Archaeological Society and was extremely knowledgeable about the Indian settlement in Crystal River.
Stephen is survived by his sons: Shawn Wesley Carroll and Shane Wesley Carroll; daughter, Sheena Marie Carroll; brother, Roy Carroll; sister, Ann Sitterson; and several grandchildren. Cremation care is under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
