Sharon Elaine Shelton, age 75, Inverness passed away October 30, 2018 at the Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville. She was born in Welch, West Virginia on June 1, 1943 to the late Alfred and Lucie (Hicks) Allen.
She moved to Indiana when she was in high school and graduated from Indiana State University where she received her teaching degree and taught for 18 years. She later received her Master’s degree from Butler University and became a Guidance Counselor. After moving to Tallahassee, she taught for 20 years in the Leon County School System. Following her retirement in 2004, Inverness became her home. Sharon enjoyed karaoke while spending time with friends.
Left to cherish her memory are 2 sons, Jeff Shelton and his spouse Cindy of Inverness; Steve Shelton and his spouse Terry of St Petersburg, FL.
There will be no services. Private cremation care with Chas E Davis Funeral Home & Crematory, Inverness, FL.
