Thomas B Ward

Thomas Barry Ward, 79, of Homosassa, FL passed away October 26, 2018 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL. He was born in Richmond, NY to the late Thomas A. and Ruth (Signe-Forle) Ward. Thomas was a telephone system installer for NY Bell, and served our country honorably in the U.S. Coast Guard. He arrived in this area in 1981, coming from Syosset, NY and was a Catholic by faith. He enjoyed boating, fishing, and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Thomas was preceded in death by one son, Thomas P. Ward. He is survived by his loving wife Alice “Kay” Ward. Other survivors include his children Linda Fritz and her husband Ric of Citrus Springs, FL, Carolyn Hoffmeister of San Antonio, TX, and Kathleen Leigh and her husband Hank of Brooker, FL; sister Barbara Radloff and her husband Ed; step-children Christine Veldink and her husband Eric of Gainesville, FL, Lyle Lotts and his wife Anita of Eden, SC, and Davis Lotts and his fiancé Davina also of Eden, SC; brother-in law Melvin Morton; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
