Marie Napoleon, age 81, of Inverness, FL passed away at Citrus Memorial Hospital on October 21, 2018. Marie was born on January 21, 1937 in Brooklyn, N.Y. to the late Vincent and Adele Lily (Marx) De Fiore.
She made Citrus County, FL her home 12 years ago after relocating from Port Charlotte, FL. Marie was known for her artistic abilities and creativity. She enjoyed making arts and crafts and working in her garden. While residing in New York, she was very active in the church ministries of the Living Water Full Gospel Church, of Riverhead, N.Y. She was also a Den Mother for Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts and enjoyed playing Mahjong with her friends on a weekly basis.
Those left to mourn Marie’s passing include her children: Anthony S. Napoleon of Lindenhurst, N.Y., Jean Marie Warnke of Inverness, FL, James V. Napoleon and his wife Jennifer of Eastport, N.Y., Lawrence C. Napoleon of Port Charlotte, FL; brother, Stephen De Fiore and his wife Madeline of Inverness, FL; and grandchildren: Alicia, Andrew, Steven, Jeremy, Nicole, Rebecca, Alexandra, Kaitlyn, William Jr., James Jr., Ryan and Joshua.
A Celebration of Marie’s life is scheduled for Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 3:00 PM and will be conducted by Reverend Greg Kell of Cornerstone Baptist Church at the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness. Friends are invited join Marie’s family in visitation starting at 2:00 PM until the hour of service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
