Daniel Santero

Daniel Santero, 79, of Inverness, FL passed away September 12, 2018 at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. He was born in Staten Island, NY on January 20, 1939 to the late Dante and Anna (Murphy) Santero. Daniel worked for the New York City Government, and arrived in this area in 1989, coming from Staten Island. He was a Catholic by faith and attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness. Daniel enjoyed watching football on the TV, bowling, and taking his grandchildren and great-grandchildren to the beach. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Rosemarie Santero in 2017. Daniel is survived by his children Daniel Santero, Jr. of Inverness, and Susan Pepe and her husband Louis of Floral City, FL; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Friday, September 21, 11:00 A.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness. The family will be receiving friends in visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
