Vicki Lynn Richard, age 61, of Homosassa, FL passed away on August 15, 2018 surrounded by her loving family and while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast. Vicki was born on November 21, 1956 in Clinton, IN to the late Alonzo and Barbara L. (Robards) Trombly. On January 8, 1978 she married Donald Eugene Richard with whom she shared 28 years of loving marriage until his passing on December 15, 2006.
Vicki and Donald made Citrus County, FL their home in 1985 after relocating from Meriden, CT. Together they owned and operated Richard Electronics in Homosassa, FL for several years. In her spare time, Vicki enjoyed playing bingo, going to the beach and hanging out by the pool and having cocktails with friends. She was a great cook; she loved making meals for family and friends. Vicki was an animal lover and adored her Shih-Tzu dog, Kuuipo. She was a longtime member of the Beverly Hills American Legion, Post 237.
Vicki’s passing will be mourned by her daughters: Kathleen Richard of Riverview, FL, Stephanie Webb and her husband James of Merritt Island, FL; sister, Teresa Moody and her husband Dennis of Homosassa, FL; brothers: Lonnie Trombly of Inverness, FL, Russell Trombly of Middletown, CT, Robert Tessier of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren, Michael and Bradley Ciccone; and great granddaughter, Aleigha Ciccone.
A Funeral Service of Remembrance is scheduled for Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Dr. Paul Hall, Hospice Chaplain, conducting the service. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Following cremation, Vicki’s urn will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Fountains Memorial Park, Homosassa, FL. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
