Sandra Ann Blair, age 75, Inverness, FL passed away August 3, 2018 in Citrus Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. Sandra was born in Torrington, CT on January 8, 1943 to the late Russell and Jessie (MacDonald) Glasstetter and came to Citrus County 14 years ago from St. Petersburg, FL. She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Sandra enjoyed playing bingo, antiquing, crafting, and crocheting, but most of all, spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 40 years, Don F. Blair, Inverness, FL; 4 children: Leslie D. “Woody” Woodward and his fiancee, Cherie Demorrow, St. Petersburg, FL, Russell T. Woodward, Palm Harbor, FL, Sheryl D. Downen and her husband John, Hudson, FL, Jody R. Blair, Tarpon Springs, FL; stepdaughter, Shelly Bredice of Inverness, FL; 1 sister, Sheila Payne and husband Michael, Hudson, FL; 3 grandchildren: Justin Cole Sconza and his wife Hannah, Alex Finley Sconza, Taylor Rix and her daughter Greenlee Rix. Sandra was predeceased by her sister, Jeannie Spina.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, August 14th at 3:00 PM from the Cornerstone Baptist Church with The Reverend Greg Kell officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Bay Pines National Cemetery in Seminole, FL. Friends may visit with the family at the church from 2:00 PM until service time. Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory is assisting the family.
