Gerard M. Middleton, age 68, of Beverly Hills, FL passed away at Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness, FL on July 30, 2018. Gerard was born on April 9, 1950 in Baltimore, MD to the late Conrad and Edna (Bewig) Middleton.
He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army and went on to work as a Contractor in the Construction Industry. Gerard made Citrus County, FL his home 18 years ago after relocating from Rehoboth Beach, DE. He was a fan of the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles. After he relocated to Florida, he also became a fan of the Florida Gators. Gerard enjoyed playing sports for a number of years and had been a member of his high school track team. He was a proud graduate and alumni of Patterson High School in Baltimore, MD, class of 1968. He enjoyed spending time on the water, going to the beach and boating. He was once employed by a marina to captain and deliver boats to their new destinations all over the eastern seaboard. Gerard was a member of the VFW.
Those left to mourn Gerard’s passing and cherish his memory are his sons: Justin Middleton of Dundalk, MD, Chris Middleton and his wife Joanna of Middle River, MD; sister, Patricia Kupfer of Rehoboth Beach, DE; brothers: Robert Middleton and his wife Judith of Bushnell, FL, Kevin Middleton and his wife Denise of Dundalk, MD, Brian Middleton and his wife Michele of Gulf Breeze, FL; grandchildren: Candace, Christian and Cody; and the mother of his children, LaDonna (Weaver) Middleton.
Gerard’s family plan to hold a Memorial Service at a later date. Cremation care is under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
