Kathleen “Katie” Dolbow, 94, Inverness passed away Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Arbor Trail Nursing & Rehab Center. Katie was born in Johnston City, IL on January 2, 1924 to the late Thomas and Florinda (Barlow) Kelly and came to Citrus County in 1962 from Kendall, FL. She was employed for many years at the Bank of Inverness as an executive secretary for George Brannen, Sr. and assisted Dr. John Gelin as a medical secretary. Katie attended church at the Hernando United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Richard “Dick” Dolbow and wife Frances of Inverness. 2 grandchildren: Dianna Goolsby and husband, Todd; Darla Dolbow and fiancé, Chuck Croft, 4 great grandchildren, Jenna Beck, Hailey & Madison Holm, and Olivia Croft; 3 nephews, Mark Stokes and wife, Chris; Thomas Stokes and wife, Pat; Howard Stokes and wife, Sandi; Marilyn Stokes, wife of the late Ronnie Stokes; She was preceded in death by her husband Louis J. Dolbow (2004), and her brothers and sisters.

Katie’s urn will be laid to rest next to her husband in Florida National Cemetery at a later date. Cremation care with Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory.
