John F Pedrotty was a man of many talents, interests as well as hats. John was called home at the age of 91 on July 2, 2018 at his home in Inverness, FL. He was born in Uhrichsville, OH on April 18, 1927 to the late John Leo and Hazel Randles (Hutson) Pedrotty.
John was a Father, Husband, Grandfather and Friend. An adventurous spirit, he traveled the states and world. From fishing in Alaska to boating in the Caribbean and Eastern Coast to winning at the casinos. A world traveler, from Germany to Egypt and everywhere in between.
John was a self-taught man learning discipline and devotion as a Private First Class in the Army Air Corp during World War II. After performing his duty for God and country he found his passion in electronics and education. He learned the magic of electronic communication, starting from TV Teddy in their garage in Massillon, OH to owning and operating Miami Mobile Communications and Repeater Service of Miami for over 50 years. During this time, he taught multiple classes at Hialeah High for high school students.
John was equally as successful in his personal adventures. John is survived by his life companion Lucretia “Krish” Flateau, his 3 loving children, Patricia Hartman, John Pedrotty and Gerald (Jerry) Pedrotty, all of Keystone Heights, FL and 7 grandchildren.
In addition to his loving family, he has had a lifetime of friends that have loved him. A great storyteller and sense of humor he always had a quick wit at hand.
A celebration of Life Funeral Services for John is scheduled for Monday, July 9, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness. The family will be receiving friends in visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
