Inez Delores Dinger, 90, of Inverness, FL died at home on June 29, 2018 under the loving care of her family and Hospice of Citrus & The Nature Coast. Inez was born in Paterson, NJ on April 15, 1928 to the late Vincent and Josephine (Nutile) Melillo and came to Florida in 1973 from there. She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. She loved spending time with her family.
Left to cherish her memory are 3 children, Walter R. Dinger, Jr., Altamonte Springs, FL; Michael J. Dinger, Hixson, TN; Donna Marie Case, Hernando, FL; 2 sisters, Angelina Kimble and Jean Intoppa, both of New Jersey; 4 grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 7 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walt Dinger Nov 7, 2012, her son, Robert S. Dinger in 1959, and her son in law, Donald Case in 1993.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, July 5th at 11:00 AM from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Fr. Tim Cummings, celebrant. Graveside committal services will follow at 1:00 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. Friends are invited to meet at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home Thursday to visit with the family from 9:30 AM until the procession departs for the church at 10:30. In lieu of flowers, it is requested that memorial donations be made in Inez’s memory to Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, P.O. Box 641270, Beverly Hills, FL 34464.
