Jimmie Robert “Pinocchio” Patnode, 65, of Jackson, MI and Inverness, FL passed away June 11, 2018 at his Michigan residence. Jimmie was born in Jackson, MI on Nov 15, 1952 to the late Elgin and Dorothy (Gibbs) Patnode.
He was a retired die setter and served our country in the U.S. Navy, having served on the USS Kitty Hawk. He had two tours in Vietnam. His passion was motorcycles and was a member of the Family Motorcycle Club in Michigan. He enjoyed fishing and gardening as well.
He is survived by 2 brothers, Michael Patnode of Inverness and Roger Patnode of Jackson, MI; 1 sister, Debra Bucholtz of Jackson, MI. Additionally, he had 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of Jimmie’s life at a later date in his hometown of Jackson, MI. His urn will be laid to rest in Florida National Cemetery.
