Christopher Gangler, 55, of Hernando, FL passed away May 20, 2018 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast in Lecanto, FL. He was born in Chicago, IL on January 22, 1963 and moved to Citrus County in 1993.
Chris, the owner of “Chris Gangler and Associates”, was a web designer and social media IT for the Citrus County school district. An ardent Beatles fan, he also enjoyed kayaking, playing video games and sharing his unique sense of humor on Facebook. Chris was a natural dog handler but preferred to stay on the sidelines at dog shows and spoil the dogs at home.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Marla Gangler (Boychuk). Chris is also survived by his parents, Wayne and Geraldine Gangler, and his brother Ken Gangler and family.
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for Saturday, May 26, 11:00 A.M. at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1100 W. Highland Blvd. Inverness, FL 34452. The family will be receiving friends at the church one hour prior to service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in honor of Chris Gangler to the Citrus County Education Foundation, www.citruseducation.org.
