Donald M. Kievet, 88, of Lecanto, FL passed away April 30, 2018 at Crystal River Health and Rehab in Crystal River, FL. He was born in Vesper, WI on June 10, 1929 to the late Jacob and Erma (TerMott) Kievet.
Donald served our county in the U.S. Air Force, attaining the rank of Master Sgt upon retirement. He also was a retired System Engineer for Raetheon Inc.
Donald arrived in this area in 2003, coming from St. Augustine, FL, and was a Catholic by faith. He enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, golfing, and taking vacations to Gatlinburg, TN.
Donald is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Joan Kievet. Other survivors include sons David, Tom, and Kenn Kievet; step-sons Randall and Roy True; sister Marjorie Loonstra; and several grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements by Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
