Daniel Wayne Graves, age 52, of Floral City, FL, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 19, 2018. Daniel was the son of Kenneth and Frances Graves and born on December 27, 1965, in Hot Springs, AR.
He was a Truck Driver by trade and had recently begun working for Connect Express. Daniel made Floral City his home 1 year ago after relocating from Arkansas. He was known for his sense of humor and loved playing jokes and pranks on his friends. Daniel enjoyed landscaping, planting trees and laying stonework in his yard. He also liked making t-shirts, building things and playing air hockey with his step-daughter.
Daniel’s passing will be mourned by his loving fiance’ of 4 years, Sherry Hix, whom he had known since she was 14 years old. Others that will cherish Daniel’s memory include his daughter, Annalyssa Green of Benton, AR; step-daughters: Brittany Hix and her fiance’ Matthew of Winter Haven, FL, Desi Hix of Floral City, FL; step-son, Robert Hix of Floral City, FL; brother, James Graves; sister, Margaret Graves; his best friend, Mark Roach; and friend and business partner, Earl Henderson. Cremation care is under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
