Iris Yolanda Din, age 69, of Floral City, FL, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, while surrounded by her loving family. Iris was born on November 7, 1948, in Manati, Puerto Rico, to the late Juan and Luz (Colon) Rosado.
A Catholic by faith, she married Allan Din in 1966. Iris and Allan resided in Cape Coral for 26 years before relocating to Durango, CO. They returned to Florida 6 years ago to be near the water once again. In her spare time, Iris enjoyed playing golf, working in the yard and spending time with her family. She also loved to shop.
In addition to her loving husband Allan, Iris is survived by her son, Erik Din and his wife Jacole of Inverness, FL; brother, John Rosado and his wife Rosie of Miami, FL; sisters: Lucy Rodriguez and her husband Pablo of Miami, FL, Evelyn Rosado of Apache Junction, AZ, Catherine Caldwell of Pennsylvania; and grandchildren: Icely and Braxton Din.
A celebration of Iris’ life will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 11:00 AM, at the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Father Claudius Mganga of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Inverness, officiating. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
