Roberta “Sue” Gahagen, 75, of Beverly Hills, FL departed to be with her Lord and Savior on March 29, 2018 at Grand Living ALF in Hernando. FL. She was born in Cincinnati, OH on April 5, 1942 to the late Alfred and Mary (Carter) Sporleder.

Sue was a devoted missionary, and with her husband Donald, they served the Lord with missionary work in South America from 1962 until 1978, and then served with Mission of the World in the U.S. until 2000. She arrived in this area in 2005, coming from Port St. Joe, FL and was a member of Seven Rivers Presbyterian Church. Sue enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, biking, reading, and loved helping others.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Alyce Skaggs. Sue is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Donald Gahagen. She is also survived by her sons, Donald “Craig” Gahagen and his wife Heather of Peru, South America, and Timothy Carter Gahagen of Hudson, FL.; 4 grandchildren, Whitney, Kara, Brett, and Jamie; and 4 great-grandchildren, Abigail, Jayda, Gianna, and Caden.

This fund will enable SAMAIR to fly more pastors and missionaries to jungle villages in Peru where the good news of Jesus needs to be heard.
