Frank A Stauffer

Frank Austin Stauffer, age 53, of Inverness, FL, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 25, 2018. Frank was born on March 30, 1964, in Tampa, FL, to the late Marvin Everly and Shirley Ann (Logan) Stauffer.

He moved to Citrus County with his family in 1967. Frank was a Master Tile Setter by trade, employed by Creative Ceramics, and did much of his work in Terra Vista, Citrus Hills. Frank attended Crystal River High School. Hhe was Catholic by faith and served as an Altar Boy as a child at both St. Benedicts in Homosassa and Our Lady of Grace in Beverly Hills. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, family and friends at gatherings and get-togethers. Frank was a huge NASCAR fan and also loved his boats, poker, cars, bowling and most of all fishing tournaments.

In addition to his loving wife of 32 years, Tammy (Laramee) Stauffer, Frank’s passing will be mourned by his sons: Austin Stauffer and David Freeman, Jr., both of Inverness; brother, Joseph Stauffer of Homosassa; grandchildren: Kailyn and Nicolai Freeman of Inverness; brothers and sisters in-law: Jennifer Marden, Sandra (William) Colby, Lorraine (Fred) Bleannau, Dennis Laramee, Leslee Woodruff, Edward Laramee; and a great many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

A celebration of Frank’s life will take place on Monday, April 2nd at 4:00 PM at the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, with Father Tim Cummings of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Celebrant. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until the hour of service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
