Edmund Webster Willard, age 90, of Floral City, FL, passed away at his home on March 20, 2018. Edmund was born on March 11, 1928 in Ithaca, N.Y. to the late Louis and Clara (English) Willard.
Episcopalian by faith, he made Citrus County his home in 1984 after relocating from Largo, FL. Edmund was employed as a Truck Driver throughout his lifetime and retired as a truck driver for Herand Lumber Company. He was a Life Member of both the Floral City VFW #7122, and the IRRU Social Club of Floral City. In his spare time, Edmund enjoyed fishing boating and socializing with his family and friends.
Those left to mourn his passing are his daughters: Linda Taggart and her husband Terry of Floral City, FL, Joann Reinhold of Connecticut; son, Tom Willard and his wife Pat of North Carolina; 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. Edmund was preceded in death by his wife of over 10 years, Dory Willard and his son, Terry Willard.
Edmund’s family plan to have a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Floral City, VFW #7122.
Cremation care is under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
